Avril Lavigne Clothing Line: Avril Lavigne Abbey Dawn Kohl’s July 2008 Launch

Avril Lavigne has teamed up with department store retailer Kohl’s to launch her own “junior lifestyle” clothing line, Abbey Dawn.

Abbey Dawn is described as a jewelry and apparel line that will “mirror Lavigne’s rock style and energy.” Prices will range from $24 to $48

Abbey Dawn will debut at Kohl’s in July.

Hi – if you or your readers are interested, I did some searching around and am pretty sure I found out the origin of Avril’s nickname (and clothing line name) “Abbey Dawn”.

It was a place located just outside Kingston Ontario, the biggest city beside Avril’s hometown of Napanee, that was not only a bird sanctuary but also a gathering place for creative and spiritual people like writers, poets, and musicians. So it turned out to be a pretty appropriate nickname for Avril’s dad to give her as a child! :-)
