‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’ Released As A 1995 VHS, Prepare For A Nostalgia Overload [Watch]

Avengers: Age Of Ultron has now been re-imagined as a 90’s movie that is heading to VHS-as if we needed any more reasons to possibly get excited for the upcoming blockbuster sequel.

The irony of the latest amazing video is that young fans may not even understand what is going on, since it is modeled as a VHS tape, an ancient relic that some people have not seen in more than a decade.

Avengers: Age Of Ultron was able to be created as a nostalgic VHS feature thanks to the team at Vulture, who released it on their YouTube yesterday, and it has already received over 200,000 views.

The real Avengers: Age Of Ultron can still be viewed as many times as you want too, enjoy.

In addition to the retro looking footage of the Avengers team, and the actors’ names being featured in an older style, the outrageous trailer also features bits of action films from the 90’s. Can you identify any specific moments from particular films?

According to the YouTube video’s description, Avengers: Age Of Ultron is coming soon to VHS: the hottest, edgiest, explosion-iest action hit of 1995. This clip is only a minute long, but should be an exciting clip for fans who were disappointed after yesterday’s news regarding the upcoming film.

It was recently revealed by director Joss Whedon that the film will not feature a post-credits scene, unlike every Marvel film that has been released since Iron Man in 2008.

Avengers: Age Of Ultron will be released in theaters on May 1st. The movie is written and directed by Joss Whedon, and stars Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Samuel L. Jackson, James Spader, Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson in an all-star cast that seems to be growing all the time.

Tell US: Does this retro trailer for a 90’s version of Avengers: Age Of Ultron make you even more excited for the blockbuster film?
