“I play a sorority girl who gets cheated on. And if you cheat on one Theta Pi, you cheat on all Theta Pis, so me and the other sisters decide to pull a prank on my boyfriend—which does not go according to plan,” reality personality laughs as she explains the plot of her new sorority slasher flick, adeptly-titled Sorority Row in an interview with the Oct. issue of Maxim Magazine. “It’s very gory, but it also has a lot of comedy, so when you’re not getting scared and jumping, you’re laughing,” she adds.

With Sorority Row set to cut the box office next Fri., Sept. 11, the film’s release is the first in a series of big career changes on the horizon for the soft-spoken brunette, best known as Lauren Conrad’s bestie on the MTV reality hit The Hills.

So why is Audrina leaving the show? “You know, it’s just something that I felt inside. I’m an adult now, and I don’t need all the petty drama and drinking and fighting. I’ve done that….”

Audrina also sheds new light on the friendship — or lack thereof — with her Hills co-stars.

“I barely talk to Lauren. We’ll text every now and then, but that’s about it. Heidi, um, keeps asking me to go to Bible study with her.”
The aspiring actress is looking forward to giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at her life of basking in the Los Angeles sun with The Audrina Show, an unscripted project produced by Survivor executive producer Mark Burnett.
