The Hills just lost another resident…..

Audrina Patridge is leaving The Hills.

After five seasons on the popular MTV reality series, the aspiring actress is saying goodbye to the unscripted smash to turn her focus toward tackling new adventures in television.

Audrina’s depature comes just weeks after Hills star Lauren Conrad revealed that the show’s upcoming fifth season will be her last.

The fate of The Hills remains unknown.

“We cannot confirm a sixth season at this time,” a MTV spokesperson said in a press statement on Tuesday. “However, ‘The Hills’ will continue as long as there are stories to tell, and as of now we don’t see an end in sight.”

But we may not have seen the last of A.P. Audrina has signed on to star in a new series from producer Mark Burnett that will center on her personal and professional life, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“We are truly pleased to have the chance to work with Audrina,” Mark tells the trade mag. “She has already proved her star quality, and we can’t wait to show her fans worldwide the next stage of her life and career.”

They will begin presenting their untitled show to networks next week.

The 10-episode fifth season of The Hills premieres March 30 on MTV.
