Audrina Patridge doesn’t do Paris Hilton’s sloppy seconds, thank you very much!

The bubbly-eyed star of MTV’s The Hills took to her official blog on Thursday to refute a New York Daily News report which claimed she and Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden had “upped” their friendship to “relationship” status.

That’s simply not true, Audrina scoffs.

“I’m getting a lot of calls today about a story that ran in a New York paper saying that I am now in a ‘romantic’ relationship with Benji Madden,” Audrina says. “I find it highly amusing, since I haven’t seen him since December. I think Benji is a sweetheart and we’re good friends, but we are definitely NOT dating! Just wanted to clear that up!”

Too bad. They make a cute couple.
