An attorney for Tina Davis has blasted a report claiming the 40-year-old manager was the woman who sent a lengthy “intimate” text message that fueled the–ahem-alleged altercation between disgraced R&B singer Chris Brown’s and his battered girlfriend Rihanna.

Despite rumors that the cougar has been shaking her laffy taffy on Chris since he was 16, her attorney claims the relationship between Tina and the singer has never been anything other than professional.

In a statement released Wednesday, attorney Marshall B. Grossman said: “The relationship between Ms. Davis and Mr. Brown is that of manager and client.”

“There has never been any other relationship. The rumors in circulation are false. There are no emails between Ms. Davis and Mr. Brown of the type which have been described in media reports. If the source of the false rumors is identified, legal action will be taken. Given the nature of the legal issues affecting Mr. Brown, Ms. Davis will not be making any further statements.”
