We’ve got some good news for all the Children of the ’80s who grew up with a crush on the incomparable Winnie Cooper: Actress Danica McKellar, who played the ultimate Girl Next Door on the coming-of-age series The Wonder Years, is single again.

Danica recently finalized a divorce from ex Mike Verta. The former couple called it quits last June, citing irreconcilable differences. The former Maxim covergirl told TMZ last year:

“I am saddened by the end of my marriage to Mike Verta. However, we are committed to raising our son together and we are focused on remaining the best parents we can be.”

Mike and Danica have a two-year-old son. According to insiders, the handling of custody and support is outlined in an iron-clad pre-nuptial agreement. (After all, McKellar was a math major.)

It’s almost too bad Danica’s Wonder Years co-star Fred Savage is still married to Jennifer Lynn Stone because they’d sure make a cute real-life couple.
