Ashton Kutcher’s private plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Las Vegas on Thursday, the star Tweeted.

Ashton and wife Demi Moore were headed to New York following the Las Vegas premiere of the actor’s new movie, Spread.

The aircraft reported engine trouble a few minutes after taking off from McCarran International Airport shortly before 1 PM. The pilots were then cleared for an emergency landing, which they made approximately six minutes later.

“My plane just had to do an emergency landing,” he wrote. “Engine over heated. Fire trucks everywhere. Good times.”

Demi also Tweeted about the close encounter and uploaded two Twitpics from the scene.

“Yep it is always an adventure in Vegas emergency landing all!” she wrote.
