Ashton Kutcher says that his role as Apple icon, Steve Jobs, was a challenge.

“I ended up in the hospital two days before we started shooting the movie,” Kutcher said to the press at the Sundance Film Festival. Kutcher, who was following a fruit died added that his “pancreas levels were completely out of whack.”

Ashton adopted Job’s fruitarian diet for the role in the upcoming jOBS film. Kutcher said that playing the tech genius “was one of the most terrifying things I’ve ever tried to do in my life.”

The film will follow Steve dropping out of college, develping the Mac and iPOD. The new film opens everywhere in April 19th.
