It pays to have friends who Twitter. On Wednesday, Ashton Kutcher asked his massive Twitter fellowship to help reach out to his wife who was “half way across the world” by sending the Ghost actress thousands of good morning messages in what the actor referred to as a “love tsunami.”

How sweet!

“Can you all help me make her morning?” Ashton posted on the blogging Web site this morning, telling his fans to send Demi “a ‘good morning, I love U’ tweet.”

Ashton wrote, “What if we crashed twitter with love (sic) That would be awsome! (sic)….”

In turn, Demi received almost 3600 messages from fellow Twitter users. Demi was overcome with emotion as all of the messages poured in.

“I am feeling the love bomb and think I might explode! At least with a few tears of overwhelming joy.” she said in a Twitter update late Wednesday morning. “What an incredible way to start the day thank you all so much and I love you all!”
