Ashley Tisdale, best known for her role as Sharpay in Disney’s High School Musical, is in talks to star in an upcoming remake of the fantasy musical Teen Witch.

The 1989 original, a spinoff of the Teen Wolf franchise, featured Robyn Lively as Louise, a sixteen year old shy bookworm who learns she’s descended from the witches of Salem and uses her new found mystical powers to make the most popular boy in school fall in love with her.
