Michael Lohan has offered to sell the inside scoop on his paternity scandal to a number of celebrity weeklies.

“He’s approaching everyone to get the highest bid because, if he is the dad, he’s going to need the money for back child support,” an insider revealed to the New York Post.

Earlier this week, Lohan submitted his DNA for testing to determine whether or not he is the father of thirteen year old Ashley Kaufmann. Ashley’s mom, Kristi, claims she had an affair with the now born-again Christian while he was still married to Dina Lohan in 1995.

According to the Post report, Michael’s asking for $20,000 for his exclusive story; OK! Magazine and People have both passed on the offer so far.

“Nobody wants to buy DNA results,” says one source. “We’re not interested,” an OK! rep said matter-of-factly.
