Looks like Team Spears wasn’t the only Hollywood faction floored by the news that sixteen year old Jamie Lynn Spears is with child. Wednesday was supposed to be a big day for Ashlee Simpson. After working on her new LP, Outta My Head, which will debut in 2008, Ash released the album’s debut music vid yesterday with very little limelight. Really-who could top Britney Spears’ kid sister getting in the family way?
“Ashlee can’t believe this happened. She’s so disappointed,” a source tells MSNBC.
“Her sister, Jessica, grew up in the shadow of Britney; it took years for Jess separate herself from her. How ironic that Ashlee’s big day ends up spent in the shadow of Britney’s little sister,” said a Simpson family friend.
