Is Ashlee Simpson pregnant again?

She gave birth to her infant son, Bronx, just six months ago, but Star Magazine insiders are reporting that 24-year-old “Pieces Of Me” singer Ashlee Simpson is already expecting another baby — a child that she hopes will put her sometimes strained relationship with hubby Pete Wentz back on track.

“She’s just a few weeks along and doesn’t want to tell the world for at least two more months,” squeals a Star spy, who claims Ash is “beyond thrilled” to be adding another child to her family.

But another tabloid tattle doubts Fall Out Boy bassist Pete, 29, is ready to be a father once again: “He loves Ash and Bronx, but he also loves his freedom. He thinks a second kid could change things for the worse. He doesn’t want to be tied down and stuck at home all the time.”

Ashlee, on the other hand, fears she’s losing her young marriage to Pete’s grueling tour schedule and hopes the new baby will keep the couple “bonded.”

“..She loves Pete and wants to hang on to him. She believes this second baby will really clinch the deal.”
