We hear the death of Kanye West’s mother, Dr. Donda West, one day after undergoing cosmetic surgery has planted ‘the fear of God’ in other Nip/Tuck-lovin’ celebrities. Ashlee Simpson and Paris Hilton are among the big name stars who have recently canned plans for plastic surgery in the wake of Dr. West’s death.

Ashlee Simpson, who reportedly was planning to go back to have a “tweak” of her recent nose job (and have some other work done), but has decided since Dr. Donda West’s untimely death to postpone it. Now, Simpson is checking with a couple of other doctors first.

Paris Hilton, who was planning to undergo breast augmentation, is preparing to check out other doctors in London.

Carmen Electra and over-the-top reality TV star Janice Dickinson (”The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency” on Oxygen) both reportedly were planning to have “some face work done,” but also have pushed back their surgeries.

“If anything good comes out of this terrible thing that happened to Donda West, it will be to make people realize cosmetic surgery is still surgery with all the risks involved,” says a Hollywood stylist.
