Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman named their new daughter after an Australian patron of the arts.

Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, born in Nashville early Monday, is the namesake of Sunday Reed, the muse of Australian painter Sidney Nolan, the baby’s paternal grandpa says.

“There was a lady named Sunday Reed who was a prominent patron of the arts in Victoria, [Australia]” Dr. Antony Kidman told Australia’s Daily Telegraph newspaper Tuesday. “I have read a bit about Sunday Reed and her husband John — she was a key mover and shaker in the arts around the beginning of the century. The name Sunday struck me as being a nice name for a woman, so my wife and I mentioned it.”

The baby’s middle name, Rose, was inspired by Urban’s late grandmother, who was also named Rose.
