California’s ‘Terminating’ Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is back with his biggest ‘Did He Say That?’ blunder since the ‘Calleefournia’ debacle since the 2003 gubernatorial campaign. The former actor has claimed that marijuana is a leaf and not a drug in the November 2007 issue of GQ Magazine.
Arnold insisted that the only drug he has ever needed was regular trips to the gym, despite there being pictures of him smoking weed in the documentary Pumping Iron.
“I didn’t take any drugs.” When asked about marijuana, he said: “That is not a drug. It’s a leaf. My drug was pumping iron, trust me.”
He also defended politicians who use controlled substances:
“A politician’s job is to do what’s best for the people and to improve the country, the economy, the environment.”
“Why should I care if a politician takes sleeping pills every night so long as he can do his job?”

Lol. I first read about and saw the pictures of a young Arnold puffing the magic dragon on Global Grind. If he considers marijuana a mere leaf, not a drug then does that mean that residents of California won’t be getting in trouble for getting caught with some green under his watch? Makes sense since he obviously doesn’t see a problem with it.
