Justin Bieber is in trouble with the law again.
And somewhere in the City of Angels an exuberant Seth Rogen just peed his pants.
The controversial Canadian (Justin, not Seth) has fallen under the suspicion of the Los Angeles Police Department after an incident with a woman at a Sherman Oaks recreational complex on Monday. The little fiasco — which involves a cellphone — could lead to attempted armed robbery charges for the Biebs.
Here’s what we know so far: The singer was at Sherman Oaks Castle Park with friends when he demanded a woman’s phone so he could delete any footage she might have taken of an altercation between J.B.’s crew and another group at the par. When the woman refused, he retrieved it from her purse himself. Justin only returned the woman’s property after she unlocked the device and proved that she hadn’t snapped any clandestine shots of him.
“She says she told Justin she and her 13-year-old daughter just wanted to say hi, and Justin screamed, ‘You’re humiliating yourself in front of your daughter. Why don’t you just get out of here.’ Her daughter started crying. She says at that point Justin turned and started screaming at someone else.”
Justin is already under investigation for felony vandalism in Los Angeles County after allegedly egging the home of a neighbor late last year. Charges are still pending against the 20-year-old in connection with his arrest for drag-racing and driving under the influence in Miami in January.
His trial is set to begin in July.
We can’t help but wonder what impact, if any, robbery charges would impact the stalled White House petition to have Bieber put on the first thing smokin’ back to Canada.
Wethinks someone might want to start stocking up on snow gear.
