Idol is such a crock. They let those who are obviously less talented through while each time they pretend to be making hard decisions with those who are the real deal. “Hmm…it wasn’t a great audition, you need lots of work…it was okay…Ah, what the heck, we’ll let you in”. Gimme a break. If they don’t want the real talent and don’t want the freakos, what the heck are they looking for? Aretha was bad-ass and great to look at.

You are right. Aretha had a nice voice and the judges were dead wrong. They must have been tired. So what her dress was in poor taste! It is a singing competition.

I thought she sounded great. I have to admit I’m prejudiced though – Aretha is one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen.

i honestly thought the judges were crazy this time….she kilt that song but not the way they said she did….she sounded wonderful to me i thought they were making a huge mistake she may have been dressed funny but she song the hell outta dat song
