Are You Looking Forward to Lady Gaga’s New Album ARTPOP?

Lady Gaga’s next album will be a unique mix of art and pop, if its title is any indication.
“New ink new album” wrote Gaga, as she posted a picture last Friday on her Facebook page, showing off a tattoo that reads ARTPOP.
The singer explained mysteriously:
“ARTPOP could mean anything. Pop art was a movement in the ’70s that is still alive now. [ARTPOP] is the music I’ve been making since [my last album The Fame].”
Given that explanation, we’re thinking there could be some Andy Warhol-inspired stuff in Gaga’s new material. Though we’re at loss as to how a canvas of Campbell’s Soup cans could be made into a dance song.
Gaga has specified that ARTPOP must be spelled out in all caps.
“Make sure when writing about my new album/project ARTPOP that you CAPITALIZE the title, *it’s all in the details*,” she tweeted.
No word on a possible release date, but we’ll keep you posted.
