Insiders claim Britney Spears told her closest pals on her recent booty-showing Mexican getaway that following weeks of clandestine get-togethers and tearful late-night phone calls she is ready to once again become “Mrs. Kevin Federline.”

“When she was on vacation she was in the best mood she’s been in for ages,” the snitch dishes. “She confessed it was because she and Kevin are slowly moving towards getting back together. ”

Brit’s “friends” claim that each time Kevin drops off the couple’s sons, Sean, twenty-one months, and Jayden, nine months, he and sometimes spends the night.

(Um Britney, the ex staying the night doesn’t qualify as “getting back together.” It’s called a “booty call.”)
