Antonio Sabato Jr. VH1 Reality Dating Competition

Soap star Antonio Sabato Jr. is teaming up with the professional matchmakers at VH1 for a little help finding that special someone.
The actor, best known for his leading roles on Melrose Place and daytime dramas General Hospital and The Bold And The Beautiful, is playing a page from the Book of Flavor Flava and begin filming his own dating reality series scheduled to debut on the network early next year.
“At the age of 36, I’m finally ready to settle down,” Antonio tells Variety.
Similar to other VH1 dating competitions, the still untitled series will feature a group of beautiful contestants tolling through a set of challenges to win Antonio’s love. Each challenge, like re-creating love scenes and skydiving in an evening gown, will center around the theme of soap operas, the television genre Antonio is best known for.
Antonio is “the fantasy man for many of our [VH1] viewers , and now that fantasy can become a reality,” says VH1 executive Jeff Olde.

The man’s so hot, why does he need a dating show? I guess being a star you don’t always find that ‘love’ when others are looking to gain from your success! Best wishes to Antonio!
