Anne Hathaway ‘Valley Of The Dolls’ Remake

Hollywood good girl Anne Hathaway is in talks to step into some ‘bad ass’ shoes as a star in a remake of Valley of the Dolls. The saucy 1967 film was based on the highly-successful 1966 novel, of the same name, by Jacqueline Susann. Anne is up for the role of Neely O’Hara, originated by Patty Duke.
Anne “will get durunk, swear, and seduce men, all while looking fabulous in fur coats and miniskirts,” a Hollywood insider tells Star Magazine.
“It will really show the range of her acting abilities, since everyone sees her either as the spunky girl next door or the dork.”
