Anna Nicole Smith was in a hotel room with her bodyguard when she collapsed-he tried to administer CPR. The Broward County Police say that Anna Nicole was traveling with a female private nurse and the nurse is the individual that called 911 after Anna remained unresponsive.

Reports are also surfacing that Anna Nicole suffered a high fever last night. She had been at the hotel since Monday.

“I can confirm that she is deceased. It’s as shocking to me as to you guys,” Smith’s attorney, Ronald Rale, told Reuters. “I don’t know anything further. [Her lawyer and husband] Howard [K. Stern], obviously, is speechless and grieving.”

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.
