Call it a Pitt stop, but Angelina Jolie is thinking about turning in her Hollywood Starlet Card in favor of a spending more time with her family.
The UN Special Envoy, 37, told the UK’s Channel 4 News that she may have to give up acting as her children get older.
“I think I’m going to have to give up acting as kids hit the teenage years because there is going to be too much to manage at home.”
Don’t fret Tomb Raider fans! Angie will still do the occasional film. For instance, she’ll turn in her portrayal of Sleeping Beauty’s Wicked Queen in Maleficent, in theaters in December 2013.
The future Mrs. Brad Pitt has made it clear, however, that her family and humanitarian work are the most important aspects of her life.
“I have enjoyed being an actress…I will do some films. I’m so fortunate to have the job. It’s a very lucky profession to be in. But if I went away tomorrow, I would be very happy to be at home with my children.”
“I wake up in the morning as a mom and I turn on the TV like everyone else and I see what is happening in the world. I want to be a part of the world in a positive way.
