Marc Jacobs has been transformed into artist Andy Warhol for the June/July 2008 issue of Interview Magazine. The founder of the Pop Art Movement, who died in 1987, would have celebrated his 80th birthday this year.
“Warhol is Warhol. He’s practically a god. I thought, ‘I’m going to get a lot of hell for this,” the designer says of his Interview photoshoot.

T-shirts and tote bags splashed with Marc’s Warhol cover shot will go on sale at the Marc Jacobs Bleecker Street store in New York City on Thursday. Proceeds from the sale of the T-shirts ($35) and tote bags ($15) will benefit the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh.
