Anderson Cooper Wax Figure Unveiled At Madame Tussauds NYC

On Wednesday, the newest well-dressed Queen to prance onto the daytime TV circuit joined the brigade of stars immortalized in wax by the team at Madame Tussauds Museum.

Anderson Cooper, host of the new talk show Anderson, unveiled his wax doppelganger at Madame Tussauds in Midtown Manhattan this afternoon. Waxy Andy — which comes complete with that signature Vanderbilt hairline — has been in the works for months. The CNN personality lie on a table, surrounded by hair samples, prosthetic eyeballs, and photographs, during a measuring session for the creation of the figure last June. Three months of hard work came to fruitation when the TV journalist stood shoulder to shoulder with his double during an unveiling ceremony this afternoon.

The Anderson 360 hitmaker had some fun with the members of his talk show studio audience by taking his new buddy on a test run during Wednesday’s taping. Can you spot the differences?!

Anderson joins a long list of Madame Tussauds honorees; including Samuel L. Jackson, Morgan Freeman, Michael Jackson, and Madonna.
