Amy Winehouse Vogue Magazine October 2007

Amy Winehouse will appear on the October 2007 American cover of Vogue Magazine.
The ‘Valerie’ singer was approached personally for the posh spot by the Fashion Bible’s editor Anna Wintour – who was impressed by Winehouse’s second album, ‘Back To Black.’
“Anna loved Amy’s album so much that she just had to have her” a source tattles to the tabs.
“But at the end of the day, it’s not just about the music, it’s about her rawness, kooky style and her outspoekenness.”
Amy, who may be moving to M.I.A, complete a photoshoot with the photographer Bruce Weber for the cover last month.
“Wintour was instantly delighted with the outcome and thought Amy oozed cool.”
“Americans have embraced Amy with their heart. She’s completly different to most of the vacuous, conveyor-belt pop stars that are churned out. There’s nobody quite like her.”
