Amy Winehouse, who joins Kanye West as the nomination frontrunner at the 2008 Grammy Awards, will reportedly miss next month’s ceremony and rumored performance over failure to secure a U.S Visa.

“The Grammys desperately wanted to book her to perform at the ceremony, but she has told them she can’t get a visa,” an insider told the NYDN.

“The visa problem is definitely drugs,” says a Grammy insider.

Earlier this month, British tabs reported that the now bottle-blonde would have to undergo drug testing before being granted permission to enter the United States.
