Amy Winehouse Trashed Hotel Room; Damages Exceed $37,000

Amy Winehouse is facing a potential lawsuit after she allegedly caused $37,500 worth of damage to a hotel suite during her eight-month stay on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia.
Owners of The Cotton Bay Complex, where Amy spent her extended vacation, accuse the “Back To Black” hitmaker of littering the luxurious suite with with cigarette burns, broken furniture, and damaged plumbing.
“There were cigarette burns in the sofa, broken beds, smashed chandeliers, cracked mirrors, and all the plumbing was blocked,” a hotel employee revealed to Britain’s Daily Star Wednesday.
Amy returned to her native Britain on Monday.
