Amy Winehouse is looking to an old favorite for inspiration for the follow-up to her critically-acclaimed 2007 album Back To Black.

The singer’s eagerly-awaited new LP will sample the score from the 1939 movie musical The Wizard of Oz, a new tabloid report claims.

“She loves the surreal look, sound and score. One of her new songs heavily samples the theme tune. And the soundtrack and score will be a theme running throughout the record,” an insider tells The British Sun.

“It’s really interesting, if a little bizarre, but I suppose that’s what you would expect from her at the moment.”

The Wizard of Oz features original songs like “Somewhere Over The Rainbow,” “Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead,” “You’re Off To See the Wizard.”

The spy added: “When Amy was writing Back To Black she was surrounding herself with 1960s soul music and girl groups and that was obvious in the record. This time it will be sounds from The Wizard Of Oz.”
