Amy Winehouse made an almost clean sweep at Sunday night’s 2008 Grammy Awards but was forced to cover up a topless tattoo by industry bosses who were scared she’d offend the audience. The Best New Artist Grammy winner used black eyeliner to disguise the breasts of a nude girl tattooed on her arm as she performed via satellite.
“Amy drew a little black bikini top on the large topless femle tattoo on her arm, so as not to offend any of America’s puritanical viewers,” a source told the Daily Telegraph. “After the show, the makeshift top was washed off.”
