Friends have placed Amy Winehouse on “suicide watch” after the award-winning singer threatened to drive a knife into her chest over the weekend.

Amy reportedly held a knife to her chest and asked friends, “What’s the point in living?”

“Her friends managed to get the knife away from her but are now holding a 24-hour suicide watch,” a celebrity snitch told The Sun on Monday.

“Amy has a death wish. Her emotions are exaggerated She is either high all the time or when she hears something she doesn’t like, she’s suicidal.”

Sources close to the singer fear she has an unhealthy obsession with dying young.

“She is all for this stupid Sid Vicious notion of dying young. She is not scared of it and believes it is her destiny.”
