Nominee frontrunners Amy Winehouse (six nominations) and Kanye West (eight nominations) have both picked up early awards at the 2008 Grammy Awards. Amy Winehouse has landed the Best Pop Vocal Album award for her acclaimed Back to Black L.P. Kanye West has won Best Rap Solo Performance for his hit single “Stronger.”
