Celebrity infomants refute Wednesday afternoon claims that ‘Rehab’ singer Amy Winehouse was hospitalized for ‘severe exhausation,’ they insted claim that the VMA nominee suffered a nearly fatal drug overdose.

The singer was rushed into the London University College hospital by her husband Blake Fielder-Civil and a friend in a ‘semi-conscious’ state.

Eyewitnesses were reported to have said the singer collapsed with a shriek as she was brought into the hospital. Reports claim that when she reached the reception her legs buckled beneath her and she fell to the floor at approximately 1am. She was then rushed into A & E for emergency treatment.

Amy Winehouse was given a shot of adrenaline and had her stomach pumped to revive her.
