Six time 2008 Grammy Award nominee Amy Winehouse has been barred from boozing at the ceremony next month. Bosses fear that she will wreck music’s biggest night if she gets drunk.

“Amy’s been told she must stay booze-free if she’s going to perform at the Grammys. While organizers are desperate for her to perform live, they equally don’t want to see the whole thing ruined if she’s absolutely hammered.”

Although, following Monday’s Crack Smoking Video Scandal, the odds of Amy showing up at the Grammys at all are iffy.

Amy is famous for demanding alcohol before she goes on stage, her usual requests include red wine, lager, vodka, champagne, brandy as well as cigarettes, crisps and Red Bull.

“They’ve told Amy she can only have soft drinks and food on her rider.”
