The American people have spoken and they want Justin Bieber on the first thing smoking back to Canada.
Some very crafty anti-Beliebers have launched a petition, urging The White House to deport the 19-year-oldd pop star following his recent run-ins with the law. Said run-ins include the alleged egging of a neighbor’s house and a bust for DUI and drag-racing just last week. The architects of “Operation Exile Bieber” are hoping to have the Canadian-born singer’s work visa revoked for being “a terrible influence” on the entire nation.
The petition reads in part:
“We the people of the United States feel that we are being wrongly represented in the world of pop culture. We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive, and drug abusing Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked. He is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nation’s youth. We the people would like to remove Justin Bieber from our society.”
Bieber fanatics could have reason to worry, according to The Washington Times. The paper wrote Tuesday:
“At noon, the petition had 70,702 signatures, and there are more than three weeks to go until the Feb. 22 deadline, making it almost certain the petition will be successful in earning the right to have the White House respond.”
Even fellow child star Drake Bell is getting in on the action. Bell — a well-documented Bieber basher, if his Twitter feed is any indication — has signed the petition and is encouraging his following to do the same by posting links to the White House petition for their convenience.
