Ryan Seacrest Gets A Raise — “American Idol” Host Could Become Highest-Paid In Reality TV
Ryan Seacrest is close to sealing a deal which will earn him a big raise if he continues to host American Idol, a source close to the contract negotiations have divulged to The Hollywood Reporter.
Seacrest, who has hosted American Idol since its inception in 2002, earned just under $5 million last season, but the new deal with 19 Entertainment— for an amount which has not disclosed — could make the Emmy-nominated showman the highest paid host in reality TV.
