American Idol Star Plays Nice
Taylor Hicks, winner of last season’s American Idol has agreed to settle a lawsuit he’s filed against a Nashville producer who apparently sold his songs he’d recorded prior to his American Idol victory.
Court documents filed Tuesday in a federal court explain Hicks now owns all the rights to the master recordings of his songs, which have been for sale on iTunes recently.
In exchange for the ownership rights, Hicks agreed with producer William Smith not to pursue any further legal action against him.
