“American Idol” Season 8 Premiere January 13, 2009

The new season of American Idol will begin with a two-night premiere on FOX January 13.
The four-hour Season 8 opener will feature the good, the bad and the ugly of auditions in San Francisco; Louisville, Ky.; Phoenix; Salt Lake City; Kansas City; Jacksonville; East Rutherford, N.J.; and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
