David Archuleta, after all is said and done has got a great starting carreer in the Music Industry. and also has David Cook. what about the rest that someone mentions here that were to have better musical carreers? not everyone get the chances in life to succeed. both David are pretty good at their styles. as for the feelings families might had had, well today I am sure it is all forgotten and forgiven.

I have the feeling that we will continue to know more about Archuleta’s music than attitudes.

david archuleta was NOT the clear favorite. David Cook was. Also those parents need to get over there selves it’s not the end of the world just cuz he didn’t win. He won some juior music comp. when he was like 11 so they need 2 focus on being parents not total jerks

You guys are very, very mature in this little forum/reply thing here, a lot more than most people. But in all honesty, I can’t blame her for being upset. Could she have handled it better? Definately. But of course she was a little ticked off that her adorable little boy lost. Not to mention, that car was probably BIG and Archie probably isn’t that great of a driver considering he was only 16 when he auditioned for Idol and it probably got in the way of his driving education. I’m a huge fan of both Davids and I was pleased David Cook won, but really , she could’ve been a better sport about it. And, piperazzi (yeah I spelled it wrong), please get of Archie’s case!!!!!

DAVID ARCHULETA DID COME IN 2ND, BUT HE HAS TOUCHED SO MANY PEOPLE’S HEART AND SOUL AND HAS MADE A DIFFERENCE ARTISTICALLY, PERSONALLY AND SPIRITUALLY WITH HIS ANGELIC AND HEAVENLY VOICE. THERE IS SO MUCH MORE HE WANTS TO DO AND GET ACCOMPLISHED, BUT REALIZES HE CAN ONLY DO IT ONE SONG AT TIME. I think the media needs to take a rest and a hard look at themselves. They are disgusting. Both Davids are individuals with wonderful talent to share with all of us. I personally voted for Archuleta because I thought he was so talented for his age. I have seen interviews with his family and they seem like any typical all american family. Both of the Davids are successful so just knock off the bad comments and let everyone enjoy the one they like best.

this is so stupid. this has nothing to do w/ david cook fans. cook fans LOVE archuleta, and vice versa. david C and david A are great friends, and their fans love their friendship. this is nothing but the media hyping up stage parents. it has nothing to do w/ cook fans. cook fans didn’t write the article, the media did. so quit blaming cook’s fans. if you go to any of the cook fansites you will see how much cook fans love archuleta too. both davids are so talented and most of the fans of both of them are planning on buying BOTH albums. the media couldn’t come up w/ anything bad about either david C or david A so they had to go after their parents. Cook fans LOVE Archie and vice versa! ‘Nuff said. The media is the problem, NOT the fans.

This is utter nonsense. Lupe Archuleta is the sweetest, most benign individual you will ever meet. She loves everyone, supports David regardless of what he does or doesn’t do or wins or doesn’t win — she cares nothing for these kinds of things, only for her son’s happiness. She, like, David, have never been anything other than 100% supportive of David Cook and his family. The foul, shameful stink on stories like this emanates from the media itself, not from the subjects of these unconscionable lies.
