Amanda Seyfried is in talks to play ’70s adult film actress Linda Lovelace in a new film about her life, Variety has learned. Peter Sarsgaard could play her abusive ex-husband.
She’s already made out with Megan Fox in horror flop Jennifer’s Body and gone even further with Julianne Moore in the indie flick Chloe, so we know Amanda’s not afraid to get a bit steamy on the big screen. The 25-year-old starlet, currently seen as Justin Timberlake’s beautiful femme fatale in In Time, is being courted to play the infamous Deep Throat actress in a new movie biopic based on a biography about the troubled star, the trade paper says. Sarsgaard is in talks to play Lovelace’s pornographer spouse Chuck Traynor, who Lovelace later divorced and accused of forcing her into prostitution and pornography.
There’s plenty of drama to go around there!
Seyfried’s Mean Girls co-star Lindsay Lohan was set to play the porn legend, who died in 2002, in another biopic titled Inferno, which now has Watchmen star Malin Akerman attached to star.
