Amanda Bynes’ behavior on the roadways has once again gotten the “retired” actress into hot water. The former child star was reportedly involved in a third hit-and-run incident in the San Fernando Valley over the weekend.
Bynes is at the center of a police investigation after a woman — identified only as Kisa — reported her for allegedly rear ending her Toyota Corolla, then driving off after refusing to exchange insurance information. According to Kisa, Amanda “looked like a hot mess” after she plowed her black BMV into her on Ventura Boulevard on Sunday afternoon.
Kisa added that Amanda “seemed nervous” when she suggested they swap information and says the 26-year-old star attempted to play down the ”significant” damage before returning to her vehicle and driving off. Kisa called police, who filed a hit-and-run report.
The alleged incident is the latest in a string of vehicular problems for the troubled actress. On April 6, Amanda was arrested in West Hollywood on suspicion of DUI after allegedly running into the back of a police car.
Bynes pled not guilty to the charge and reached out to President Obama on Twitter for help. The actress is also accused of two hit-and-run incidents in the Hollywood area on May 5 and May 27.
