Someone thought it would be fitting to ruin one of the greatest NBC Saturday Morning Cartoon Series of the 1980’s just in time for Christmas. Alvin & The Chipmunks (who actually got their start in the 1950’s, but you’re talking to an ’80’s Baby) is set for theatrical release on December 17th, 2007. The film will feature fluffy brothers Alvin, Simon, and Theodore as ‘rapping chipmunks.’ The Hell? Apparently it isn’t bad enough that some assclown already ruined ‘Garfield’ on the big screen. What’s next Punky Brewster? Leave the ’80’s and it’s fashions (ie: leg warmers and weird wild colors) and cartoons alone!
