Rachel Uchitel, the hard-partying Manhattan club hostess accused of taking “some private putting lesson” with the world’s most famous golfer has followed in the footsteps of many a scandal-plagued woman before her: She’s scurried to legal eagle Gloria Allred.

Allred, the self-professed “most famous woman attorney in the nation,” has taken on Uchitel, who The National Enquirer claims had an affair with married golf legend Tiger Woods. In its Dec. 7 issue, the tabloid published a story alleging Woods, who was involved in a car accident near his home on Friday, had been secretly seeing the brunette and that they were recently together in Melbourne, where Woods competed in the Australian Masters.

Uchitel has denied the romance rumors.
