The eldest daughter of 2004 Democratic presidential candidate, Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry, has been arrested in Hollywood for allegedly driving drunk, The Associated Press said Thursday.

Los Angeles Police say 36-year-old Alexandra Forbes Kerry was stopped by officers on a Hollywood street at approximately 12:40AM Thursday. The documentarian — who had been driving erratically — was taken into custody and charged with suspicion of DUI.

Alexandra was booked at the Hollywood police station and held for about five hours before she was released after posting $5,000 bail, says Officer Bruce Borihanh of the LAPD.
