It appears Alex Rodriguez is distancing himself from the soon-to-be single Madonna and her kooky devotion to Kabbalah.

The Yankees slugger has reportedly been dubbed a Kabbalah school dropout after backing out of private classes with spiritual leader Eitan Yardeni and failing to complete his introductory course.

“He hasn’t even finished Kabbalah1 (the introduction to the study of Kabbalah) and the majority of the time he’s spent with Yardeni so far was for counseling, not study,” says a snitch at the New York City Kabbalah Center.

“…He’s bored. He’s basically a Kabbalah school dropout.”

“This is certainly off-putting to Madonna,” says the spy.
