Uh-oh….Alec Baldwin has had another Twitter meltdown this time, during the funeral of Soprano’s star, James Gandolfini.
Alec and his wife Hilaria were attending the funeral of the the late actor in New York City when the UK’s Daily Mail began reporting that Hilaria was tweeting from the funeral services.
During the funeral, tweets were sent from Hilaria’s account asking followers for wedding anniversary ideas and retweeting @RachaelRayShow’s updates about her Thursday morning appearance. Baldwin’s publiscst, Matthew Hiltzik, released a statement saying, “It is disgraceful that this reporter manufactured a story and never called for comment or explanation — especially when it needlessly diverted attention away from a day to honor the memory of a beloved figure like Mr Gandolfini.”
Alec also defended his wife tweeting, “My wife DID NOT use her phone, in any capacity, at our friends funeral. now *uck this twitter + good luck to all of you who know the truth.”
Baldwin’s twitter account has been disabled…for the time being.
