Al Roker “Celebrity Family Feud:” NBC “Celebrity Family Feud” July 1st Premiere
Survey Says: Al Roker: Today Show weatherman Al Roker has been tapped to host NBC’s summer primetime game show Celebrity Family Feud.
Al’s already got big plans for his primetime TV closeup, including dragging TV families and dysfunctional celebrity clans, like the Lohans and the Spears, on-stage to battle it out for big bucks.
“If it ain’t broke, you don’t fix it,” Al says. Of the contestants, he says: “They don’t have to be big stars, but people with personality. You want people who’ll come to play.” American Idol producer Fremantle Media North America is producing the show.
Celebrity Family Feud will premiere on NBC on July 1st. What do you think of Al Roker as a gameshow host?

Although they did not get the Lohan and the Spears families, it looks like they’ve got some pretty entertaining celebrity match ups lined up. I loved the old Family Feud, this one better be just as good!
