Al Green Grammy Awards 2009 Video (Ft. Boyz II Men, Justin Timberlake, Keith Urban)
Justin Timberlake, Boyz II Men, and Keith Urban team up for a performance of “Let’s Stay Together” with living R&B legend Al Green at the 2009 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
Al Green said he was in the shower when he got the call to fill in for Rihanna and Chris Brown, who withdrew from tonight’ show in the wake of a domestic violence scandal.
“We had two hours and 40 minutes to rehearse, change clothes, go out and do it,” Green said. “I thrive on that kind of energy. It’s just spontaneous.”
